Smart All-New Plans+ Terms of Use

  1. Activating and Billing

    All Smart Postpaid customers are automatically enrolled to Smart’s Electronic Statement of Account (“eSOA”). Physical or printed bills are available upon request in any Smart Store or through the Smart App.

  2. 5G and LTE Network

    • Smart Postpaid customers have the highest priority on SMART’s fastest 5G and LTE data network in case there is high-traffic demand.
    • Accessing Smart’s fastest 5G network requires all of the following:
      • A 5G-enabled device;
      • A 5G-ready SIM; and
      • Being in a 5G-powered area.
    • Accessing SMART’s fastest LTE network requires all of the following:
      • An LTE-enabled device;
      • An LTE-ready SIM; and
      • Being in an LTE-powered area.
  3. Data Rollover

    • Subscriber’s unused 15, 20, 40, or 60 GB bucket data will roll over to the next billing cycle.
    • The maximum data volume that can be rolled over is 15, 20, 40, or 60 GB per month, depending on the subscriber’s monthly service fee.
    • Rolled‑over data is valid for one billing cycle only. Any unused rolled‑over data will be forfeited in the following month.
    • Rolled-over data cannot be used for data roaming.
    • Rolled-over data cannot be shared or used for gifting.
  4. Data Rollover – 5G Only Data

    • Subscriber’s unused 100 GB 5G only bucket data will not roll over to the next billing cycle.
    • 5G only data cannot be used for data roaming.
    • 5G Only data cannot be shared or used for gifting.
  5. Unlimited 5G Data for 12 Months

    • Access to Unli 5G
      • Must be using a Smart 5G-certified device
      • Must be in a Smart 5G area and latched to the Smart 5G network
    • Plan Data Usage Hierarchy and Charging
      • Unli 5G will apply only when all access requirements are fulfilled
      • Bucket Data with hard stop will apply when the subscriber has no access to 5G

    NOTE: Unli 5G can be used even when Bucket Data has been fully consumed.

  6. Unli App Group of Choice
    • Subscribers will select their Unli App Group of Choice prior to activation.
    • The Unli App Group cannot be changed after activation until further notice.
    • The Unli App Group selection for MSF 999 to 1999 include Connect, Create, and Play.
    • The Unli App Group for MSF 799 is only Connect.
    • Plan inclusions will not be deducted when the specified apps are used. The specific apps within these groups are subject to change depending on current partnerships:
      • Connect – Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and Whatsapp
      • Create - YouTube, Gemini, and Google Apps
      • Play - Mobile Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, and Honor of Kings
    • If the subscriber opts not to select an app group prior to activation, the Connect App Group will be set as the default.
    • Unli App Group of Choice is valid for 6 or 12 months, depending on the subscriber’s monthly service fee.
    • Unli App Group of Choice shall be automatically credited to the subscriber’s plan upon activation.
    • Unli App Group of Choice cannot be used for data roaming.
    • Unli App Group of Choice data cannot be shared or used for gifting.
    • Unli App Group of Choice does not include any subscriptions.
  7. Access to Smart 5G

    • Must be using a Smart 5G-certified device.
    • Must be in a Smart 5G area and latched to the Smart 5G network.
  8. Call, Text, and Data Usages

    • For instances when the customer’s allocated data has been fully consumed, he/she will receive an SMS directing him/her to go to the Smart App to purchase any of the available Data Boosters. If the customer opts not to register to a Data Booster, he/she will not be able to access the Internet using mobile data. Standard metered data charging is not available.
    • Multiple availment of Data Boosters is allowed for as long as the customer’s Credit Limit has not been reached
    • Data usage is charged to the Plan allocation first, before being charged to registered boosters.
    • Data Booster subscriptions are charged on top of the MSF.
  9. Authorized Devices

    • Smart Postpaid SIM cards may only be used with Mobile Devices (i.e. Mobile Phones, Smartphones, Tablets, and Pocket Wi-Fis). The SIM cards shall NOT be inserted in Fixed Wireless Routers (i.e. Home WiFi, CPE Routers, etc.).
    • Should the customer insert a Smart Postpaid SIM card into an unauthorized device like a Fixed Wireless Router, all mobile services such as calls, texts, and data will not work.
  10. International Services and Roaming

    All International Direct Dialing (IDD) services are charged on top of the MSF. For standard rates, please visit the Smart World website: https://smart.com.ph/World/FCTA

  11. Real-Time Balance Inquiry

    Subscriber may check his/her remaining plan inclusions and booster through the Smart App.
