Only approved and successful subscriber postpaid plan applications
and trade-in and trade-up transactions are eligible to the
additional trade-in discount. Basis of purchase date is the date of
postpaid plan application.

Standard Smart Postpaid and Smart Infinity Terms and Conditions
apply to all applications.

Change of Ownership is not allowed within one's contract period.

Approval of all applications is subject to credit parameters and
guidelines.

To claim the Trade-In Value as device discount, customer needs to
present the following:

All complaints and queries regarding their Smart Postpaid Plan or
handsets may be attended to by Smart’s toll-free 24/7 Hotline that
may be reached by dialing *888 from any Smart Postpaid or Prepaid
line; and via *800 | +63 2 8848 8806 for Smart Infinity members.

For purposes of claiming from Samsung the Trade-in Tokens, Smart
will provide reports to Samsung that include the following
information of the Trade-in transaction:

Customer must trade-in an old or used eligible device via any
participating Smart Store using the official CompAsia App,
downloadable via:

Customer downloads the CompAsia App, completes the device
diagnostics and condition assessment, provides accurate device
details, and submits the request.

Upon submission, a QR Code and an Order ID/Reference Number will be
generated in the app and the customer will receive an Order
Placement Email reflecting the initial assessed value.

Customer presents the QR Code or Order ID together with the device
to the Samsung Brand Ambassador for physical inspection and
verification.

The Samsung Brand Ambassador will verify the device condition and
confirm the Final Trade-In Value based on the final device
assessment.

Customer reviews the Final Trade-In Value.

If the customer agrees, the trade-in transaction proceeds.

If the customer declines, the device will be returned and the
transaction will be cancelled
-
Upon acceptance of the Final Trade-In Value, customer must perform
full data backup and factory reset before surrendering the device.
All SIM cards, memory cards, and personal accounts must be removed.

Customer will receive an Order Completion Email with a trade-in
receipt attached reflecting the Final Trade-In Value. The Final
Trade-In Value:

Is non-transferable
-
Is non-convertible to cash
-
Will not be credited via bank transfer or any digital wallet

May only be used toward the purchase of an eligible device at
participating Smart Stores

Customer must present the Order Completion Email and the receipt
attached to it to the Smart Store Cashier.

Smart will validate the trade-in transaction and apply the Final
Trade-In Value and applicable discount vouchers, as a discount
deducted from the total purchase price of the new device.

Customer pays any remaining balance (if applicable) using available
Smart payment options. Upon successful payment, Smart releases the
new device.
