The PLDT Group is sustaining its efforts to aid affected communities after super typhoon Pepito.
“We continue to assist our communities and teams on the ground who have been impacted in North and South Luzon. Our response teams are ready to be deployed in areas identified by LGUs. A further assessment is also being done so we can provide aid where it is needed most,” said Cathy Yang, FVP and Group Head, Corporate Communications at PLDT and Smart.
PLDT and Smart have been working round the clock to restore vital telecommunications services in Catanduanes, demonstrating their commitment to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s call for immediate restoration of telecommunication services in areas affected by the typhoon. Prepositioned response teams are also ready to be deployed in Apayao, Aurora, Benguet, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Isabela, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quirino once LGUs deem it safe to do so.
