#SalamatSaInternet: AdDU students pitch a unique way to shop for medicine

Entrepreneurial students Julie Faeldonia, Jeian Miguel, Kyle Dabon, John Lacorte, and Manuel Aplasca are the geniuses behind Medtracker, a medicine accommodation service that helps users find medicine at a pharmacy nearest their current location. Julie and Jeian came up with the idea of Medtracker for their undergraduate thesis, while Kyle, John, and Manuel brought the concept to life.

“As aspiring technopreneurs, we are thankful that we can rely on our internet providers. Medtracker would not have been possible without connectivity," said Julie, Medtracker Team Leader. "#SalamatSainternet, we were able to pursue the project with ease, from creating the prototype all the way to posting publication materials for our app, the internet has helped us so much," she added.

Through Medtracker, consumers can search for medicine or healthcare products, and reserve these with a single tap on their phones. With the help of reliable connectivity, the AdDU students continue to develop the app today, preparing it for public release.

PLDT and Smart continue to extend the reach of its fixed and wireless networks to further enhance customer experience across the country.
