Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has turned over a Project Hotline kit to the municipality of Catarman in Northern Samar to boost the town’s disaster preparedness and response efforts. The municipality has received a free smartphone device with load allocation for up to six months and hotline banners to be installed in the key areas of the town.

Project Hotline is a great help to accommodate urgent concerns of our constituents and assist our Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office in the immediate response to emergencies,” said Sherryl Sosa, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, Municipality of Catarman.
Project Hotline is Smart’s dedicated wireless solution that provides additional communication channels to local government units (LGU) to help them stay connected with their constituents during disasters and emergencies.
