“We are happy to show our simple gesture of support for the City of Tacloban. We are ready to extend our assistance to the various projects led by the LGU,” shared Hoyle Disuanco, First Vice President and Group Head of Smart Regional Customer Development Visayas and Mindanao.

These efforts form part of PLDT and Smart’s #SafeandSmart advocacy, promoting preparedness and immediate response through network resilience, continuous availability of communication services, and relief assistance to help communities mitigate disaster risks. These initiatives also underscore the commitment of PLDT and Smart to attaining the United Nations’ SDGs, particularly SDG #11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
