Tulong Kapatid, the disaster response network of the various companies chaired by Manuel V. Pangilinan, which includes Smart and Sun, is deploying emergency teams to communities affected by Storm Mario. Led by the PLDT-Smart Foundation, One Meralco Foundation, Maynilad and TV5’s Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Tulong Kapatid is distributing food, clothing, blankets, towels, and water  in various evacuation centers nationwide. PLDT and TV5 are also sending vehicles to transport stranded commuters in Metro Manila.
