Smart and DMPI Post-Yolanda Network Advisory as of December 05, 2013

[December 05, 2013/ 1000H] - Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have restored network services in the municipalities of Mercedes, Salcedo and Giporlos in Eastern Samar, Maripipi in Biliran, Ma-ayon in Capiz and Batad in Iloilo.

Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have restored network services in the municipalities of Mercedes, Salcedo and Giporlos in Eastern Samar, Maripipi in Biliran, Ma-ayon in Capiz and Batad in Iloilo. To date, 96% of the cities and municipalities adversely affected by super Typhoon Yolanda in the Visayas region have cellular coverage.

Smart and DMPI have also reestablished network coverage in all of the cities and municipalities in Biliran, Iloilo and Northern Samar, in addition to the previously fully restored provinces of Antique, Bohol, Cebu, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, and Southern Leyte.
