Smart and DMPI Network Advisory as of December 04, 2013

[December 4, 2013/ 1400H] – Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have reestablished cellular coverage in several municipalities in Biliran, Eastern Samar and Western Samar, bringing restoration of network services to 94% of the cities and municipalities in the Visayas affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda.

Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have reestablished cellular coverage in several municipalities in Biliran, Eastern Samar and Western Samar, bringing restoration of network services to 94% of the cities and municipalities in the Visayas affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda. These new areas include Kawayan in Biliran; the municipalities of Dolores, Llorente, Maydolong, San Julian, San Policarpio and Sulat in Eastern Samar; and the municipality of San Jose de Buan in Western Samar.

Network services in all the towns and municipalities of Antique, Bohol, Cebu, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, and Southern Leyte have already been fully restored.
