Smart and DMPI Post-Yolanda Network Advisory as of December 3, 2013

[December 3, 2013 | Updated 1900H] – Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have reestablished cellular coverage in the municipalities of Lawaan and Hernani in Eastern Samar; Biri Island in Northern Samar; and the municipality of Naval in Biliran.

Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have reestablished cellular coverage in the municipality of Kawayan in Biliran; the municipalities of Dolores, Llorente, Maydolong, San Julian, San Policarpio and Sulat in Eastern Samar; and the municipality of San Jose de Buan in Western Samar.

The companies have restored services in 94% of cities and municipalities in the Visayas that were heavily affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda. Network services in all the towns and municipalities in Antique, Bohol, Cebu, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, and Southern Leyte have been running since last week.
