Smart and DMPI Post-Yolanda Network Advisory as of December 2, 2013

[December 2, 2013/ 1200H] – Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have reestablished cellular coverage in Javier and Burauen in Leyte Province and the municipality Almeria in Biliran. The companies have restored services in 90% of cities and municipalities in the Visayas that were heavily affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda.

Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) have reestablished cellular coverage in Javier and Burauen in Leyte Province and the municipality Almeria in Biliran. The companies have restored services in 90% of cities and municipalities in the Visayas that were heavily affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda. Network services in all the towns and municipalities in Antique, Bohol, Cebu, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, and Southern Leyte have been running since last week.
