Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has restored its cellular service in downtown area of Tacloban City as part of its efforts to support emergency relief operations of the government and humanitarian agencies.

Smart is now working on restoring coverage in other areas of Tacloban City which was devastated by Typhoon Yolanda.
