Smart's and Sun's mobile phone networks continue to provide vital communications links for much of Central Philippines despite the impact of SuperTyphoon Yolanda.

Services are available in Western and Central Visayas, except where power outages have affected operations. Services in portions of Eastern Visayas, particularly Eastern Samar and parts of Leyte, where the supertyphoon has inflicted the most damage, have been adversely affected. Our signal in other Samar provinces and in Southern Leyte remains on air.

We have pre-positioned teams of engineers and technicians in the most affected areas and they have commenced restoration work.
