    Smart Infinity, in partnership with Solaire and The German Club, transported members to Bulgaria by bringing the world’s most famous gastronomy festival to The Tent at Solaire with Oktoberfest 2018! Decked in their finest dirndl and lederhosen, guests were indeed treated to a world-class celebration as they enjoyed over 20,000 liters of beer, authentic Bulgarian delicacies and live music from Martin Nievera and the Bavarian Sound Express throughout the three-day jamboree.

    Throwback with The Company

    Smart Infinity presents exclusive Banana Republic Black Friday shopping party and perks for customers 

    In keeping with its commitment of providing members with world-class experiences and rewards, premium postpaid brand Smart Infinity granted its customers exclusive discounts for the Banana Republic Black Friday Shopping Party held last November 24.

    To provide attendees with a one-of-a-kind shopping party, Banana Republic served cocktails and wines for guests to enjoy while picking out new garments. Cocktail tables with floral embellishments were also set up throughout the store. 

    While regular shoppers were able to avail of a 30% discount during the event, patrons of Smart Infinity received a special 35% markdown on all regular priced items—redeemable at both its Greenbelt 5 and Bonifacio High Street Central branches—from both the previous and new collections of the luxury brand throughout the weekend of November 24-26. 

    To avail of the discount, members simply had to present either their Infinity Badge—accessible through the Infinity Lifestyle app—or the confirmation text sent to them by the postpaid brand. Among customers who enjoyed the sale was socialite and Infinity Brand Ambassador Mikaela Lagdameo.

    Smart Infinity raises funds for social change

    Smart Infinity, along with PLDT-Smart Foundation and One Meralco Foundation, presented “Love in Abundance: An Outpouring of Blessings,” a dinner-concert staged to raise funds for Caritas Manila’s youth scholars.

    The benefit, which featured the inspirational music of composer and musician Ryan Cayabyab, was held at the Grand Ballroom, Shangri-La at the Fort, Bonifacio Global City. The show, directed by Floy Quintos, featured performances by Bo Cerrudo, Celeste Legaspi, Bituin Escalante, Esang De Torres and Basil Valdez accompanied by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.

    “We are very grateful to Smart Infinity, PLDT-Smart Foundation and One Meralco Foundation for their valuable support to our efforts,” said Caritas Manila Executive Director Rev. Fr. Anton CT Pascual.

    Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP) is the flagship program of Caritas Manila, which extends financial assistance to poor but deserving students and trains and hones the youth not only for academic excellence, but also to become responsible members of the community.

    To date, Caritas Manila has produced over 10,000 graduates and continues to provide educational assistance, values formation workshops and leadership trainings to almost 5,000 students nationwide with an average of 300 college and technical/vocational graduates yearly.

    Smart Infinity gives back through charities

    Steadfast in its commitment to provide world-class and exclusive services to the Filipino people, Smart Infinity goes beyond being a premium service provider by enabling its members to “Lead The Change.” Recently, the premium postpaid brand of Smart Communications Inc. hosted a private lunch honoring several subscribers at The Peninsula Manila. Smart Infinity took the opportunity not only to thank its loyal members, but also shared its advocacy to create positive opportunities for change for the Filipino community.

    During the event, Smart Infinity extended its support to the Kalipay Negrense Foundation and Feed The Children Inc., on behalf of its members.

    “Kalipay Negrense’s story is one that’s filled with miracles. We give disadvantaged children hope and a home. At Kalipay, these children are rehabilitated and educated to have a second chance in life and grow up to become productive citizens. We have rescued toddlers who have been so abused they could hardly walk. But there is always hope. We are very thankful to Smart Infinity and Raul and Joanna Francisco,” said Jay Abello, who represented the Negros Occidental-based organization.

    “Our family, even our children, is involved with Kalipay Negrense. I am very proud to represent Smart Infinity, which leads the change and believes in things that matter,” said Joanna.

    Donnie and Crickette Tantoco, on the other hand, supported Feed the Children, a nongovernment organization with this mission of ending hunger among children worldwide. The Tantocos are also Smart Infinity brand ambassadors.
    Since 1984, Feed the Children has worked with kids in the Philippines, expanding their work beyond meals to developing community independence.
