Manila, Philippines, 20 September 2018 – Smart Infinity teamed up with ArteFino, an artisanal crafts fair that puts the spotlight on over 100 of the finest homegrown brands, which drew over 10,000 guests from August 30 to September 2 in the Penthouse at 8 Rockwell.
To kick off the event, Smart Infinity raffled off a 64G iPhone X, and gave away an iPhone 8 Red under the Limitless Plan 5000. Smart Infinity also donated to the HeArteFino Development Program, which provides sustainable livelihood to various communities across the Philippines with Davao’s Bagobo Tagabawa Tribe as the first recipient of the grand.
“ArteFino has always been about offering guests with a bespoke experience—and that’s something that Smart Infinity has always been known to provide through their unparalleled mobile plan offerings,” said Mel Francisco, one of the founding members of ArteFino.
Additionally, ArteFino customers also availed of free, fiber-fast connectivity through Smart Wifi, and were able to purchase through virtual wallet PayMaya.
“We at Smart Infinity were very happy to have partnered with ArteFino, which has been known to pioneer the local artisanal retail sector. We hope that by offering ArteFino guests with our premier plans and privileges, we were able to provide them with a truly unique and luxurious experience,” said AVP & Head of Enterprise Wireless Solutions and Smart Infinity Chet Alviz.
“Smart Infinity’s plans and privileges are unlike any other. Our customers under the Limitless Plan can enjoy non-stop surf as well as unlimited calls and texts to all numbers, while customers under the Traveler Plan are offered full flexibility—wherever they are in the world. We hope that by offering these to ArteFino guests, we are able to provide them with a truly unique and luxurious experience.”
Now on its second year, ArteFino highlighted both up-and-coming and established Filipino brands in fashion, pottery, homeware and jewelry, such as Ines Moda Infantil, Barong Batik, La Herminia Pina Weaving Industry, The Leather Studio Manila, Casa Mercedes Inc., Makitalo, Halo Halo, and Cornerstone Pottery, among many more fine finds. Guests of the fair likewise enjoyed Eats by ArteFino, a section devoted to the bustling local artisanal food scene from Taste by Grace, Art of Pie, Stanford & Shaw, Engkanto, Pizza Moreno, Bucky’s, Green Babes, Gourmet Garage, and The Wholesome Table.
This year, ArteFino presented The Barracks—an ode to the “las barracas” of old Spanish homes and estates—devoted entirely to over 30 menswear brands that celebrate Filipino artistry.
“This partnership with ArteFino highlights our mission of collaborating with the most exclusive brands in the country. These brands represent our commitment to our Smart Infinity subscribers—luxury and excellence in both service and experience. That is the Smart Infinity promise and our clients deserve nothing less,” said SVP and Head of PLDT & Smart Enterprise Business Groups Jovy Hernandez.
