Thanks to kind sponsors, three more public schools in the Visayas will enjoy digital learning with the Smart School-in-a-Bag.
Three schools in Samar and Negros Occidental became the latest recipients of the Smart School-in-a-Bag, a digital learning package from Smart Communications and partner donors that seeks to enhance learning in public schools all over the country.
Hamticon Elementary School in Sagay, Negros Occidental received the package from UBS Investments Philippines and PLDT-Smart Foundation, while Yangta Elementary School in Daram, Samar and Majaba Elementary School in Catbalogan, Samar got the donation from the PLDT Employees Credit Cooperative, Inc.
The Smart School-in-a-Bag contains a laptop, five tablets, TV, a solar panel with batteries, and educational content aligned with the official curriculum. Earlier recipients of the package have reported better attendance and heightened interest in lessons among their students.
