PLDT Inc.’s wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has once again shown its unrelenting support for the annual celebration of Cadiz City’s Dinagsa Festival through cash sponsorship and merchandising support, bringing a colorful and memorable festival experience for everyone.

Dinagsa Festival is a weeklong festivity celebrated by the people of Northern Negros which honors Cadiz City’s patron saint, the Infant Jesus Señor Sto. Niño.

“Through the years, Smart has been very supportive of the local government of Cadiz City’s goal of making the yearly celebration of Dinagsa Festival an unforgettable one for the locals and tourists. It has been a privilege to still be able to contribute to the success of the celebration,” said Allan Luna, Smart Senior Manager of West Visayas Regional Customer Development.

Smart has also set up SIM Registration Booths to help more subscribers register their SIMs in compliance with the SIM Registration Law. This initiative is part of Smart's overarching goal to protect more subscribers from SIM-, Internet-, and Electronic-aided crimes.

As of January 29, 2023, Smart has registered 13,826,648 subscribers nationwide and continues to fortify its SIM Registration efforts on ground to ensure that no subscriber is left behind.
