PayITfwd is a social development initiative of Smart with a goal to support, promote, expand, enhance, reward and enable social good efforts that foster learning through technology. Technology not only increases access to learning but enables acts for social good to spread its benefits to more communities thus keeping the 'good' going.
In 2013, Smart recognized 10 projects that stood out among over a hundred entries received under the social development initiative that promotes spreading good deeds through technology. Each of the 10 community-based projects were provided with a technology grant of P50,000 as well as devices and connectivity via Smart Bro.
PayITFwd was recognized by the Anvil Awards in 2014.
