Application Developers' Intro School or ADIS is an industry-academe linkage program that helps schools – that are centers of excellence in IT – produce industry-ready graduates by immersing them in the Java-based elective that simulates the end-to-end IT environment in a telco industry.
Through the Program, both faculty and students are immersed in the telco-based IT environment and learn the rudiments of systems integration and analysis as well as programming and testing.
ADIS was implemented in 13 partner colleges and universities nationwide, from 2006 to 2011, with some 1,400 students taking the IT elective.
