ACeS goes global with Inmarsat


Asia Cellular Satellite (ACeS) has become a global operator with its collaboration with Inmarsat.

ACeS will form the platform for worldwide expansion powered by the combined coverage of its Garuda 1 satellite and the Inmarsat I4 satellite.

Armed with ACeS’ strong presence in Asia, the two satellite operators will introduce products in the region (such as Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network or BGAN) and increase focus on the maritime sector.
