ACeS’ recent collaboration with global satellite operator INMARSAT takes SMART Link subscribers farther with a wider coverage that’s now reaching the whole of Asia, Middle East, Africa plus the Persian Gulf, and the Indian Ocean.

Starting August 2007, existing and new SMART Link subscribers may enjoy SMART Link’s improved service in lands and major sea lanes within the present coverage area (the Garuda Satellite Asia-Pacific footprint) and the new coverage area under the INMARSAT F1 I-4 Satellite.

This is only the first phase in the series of network expansion being planned by SMART Link to provide fast, simple, affordable and reliable connection to people who roam the widest oceans or trek the most remote lands of the planet.
