R-190 Mobile Phone Channel Change Procedure
1.
Using the navigation key, select NETWORK then press YES.
2.
Press the navigation key again and select SEARCH OPT SATELLITE then press YES, “SEARCH OPT <One Search>” will display.
3.
Press YES again, “ONE SEARCH <Select net>” will display.
4.
Using the navigation key select ONE SEARCH <Channel> then press YES, “CHANNEL <Enter Number>” will display.
5.
Press YES and enter the Channel Number using your location and Channel Map** as reference, after pressing channel number press YES again and wait for the R-190 phone to display “ACeS” with a full black circle and signal bars.
6.
You can repeat steps 1-5 until you have the display “ACeS” with a full black circle and signal bars.
7.
If you are locked to the Inmarsat satellite, you will see “SAT” on the display with a full black circle and signal bars.
8.
You can now place your call.
FleetPhone Fixed Terminal Channel Change Procedure (Option 1)
1.
Lift the telephone handset, no dial tone will be heard. “Please Dial” will be displayed on the LCD.
2.
Press #52* on your telephone handset.
3.
The LCD will display “Channel Number?”.
4.
Enter the channel number using your location and Channel Map** as reference followed by # sign and replace handset back on hook.
5.
The LCD will display “OK”.
6.
Wait until the LCD displays “Searching” followed by “Inmarsat” or “ACeS” with a full black circle and signal bar.
7.
You can now place your call.
