HOW TO REGISTER LEGACY PHONES:
- Step 1: Using legacy phone, go to “Create a Message”
- Step 2: In Create a Message, type in START<space> email address <space>password and send to 7077
e.g.: START <space>johndoe@gmail.com<space>1234 and send to 7077 - Step 3: Subscriber will receive:
- Welcoming message to the service.
- Confirmation that the service is already active.
HOW TO DE REGISTER IF YOU ARE USING A LEGACY PHONE
- Go to “Create a Message”.
- In Create a Message, type in the STOP<space>email address<space>password and send to 7077
e.g.: STOP<space>johndoe@gmail.com<space>1234 and send to 7077 - Subscriber will receive a confirmation message that subscription has already been deregistered.
HOW TO REGISTER GPRS CAPABLE PHONE (via WEB):
- Step 1:
via WEB: ( http://smartgomail.com.ph)
via SMS: START<space> email address<space>password and send to 7077 - Step 2: Enter your email address and password and click on 'Register'
- Step 3: Set your mobile phone features and click on 'Continue'
- Step 4: Text alert will be sent to your mobile phone. Accept the configuration message and enter the PIN found in your registration screen. Click 'Finish'
- Step 5: On your mobile phone, click on messages. If you see your mailbox, it means you have successfully installed the service.
HOW TO DE REGISTER - GPRS CAPABLE PHONE (via WEB):
- Log on to http://smartmobileemail.smart.com.ph/
- Enter your enrolled email account and password
- On Account page, click on 'Delete'
- Subscription has already been de-registered.
MANAGING PHONE SETTINGS - GPRS CAPABLE PHONE (via WEB):
- On account page, click on 'Manage Phone'
- There are different tabs:
Device Selection - to change enrolled handset type
Advanced Settings - to choose type of email notification (by SMS or IMAP)
Phone Settings - to (re) send configuration to your mobile phone - To add second email account, click on 'New Email Account' then enter your email address and password. Then click on 'Register'
- To subscribe to web feeds, click on 'New Web Feed' then enter the URL
HOW TO SEND EMAIL USING LEGACY PHONE:
Text <email address of recepient:subject:message> and send to 7077
Example: smart@gmail.com:Celebrate:Hello
HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO A PACKAGE:
After registering to an email account, text BUY<space>PACKAGE and send to 7077
Example: BUY MONTHLY
SMS notification will be sent for successful subscription
