Setting up your SMART GSM cellphone
Your phone's settings must be configured to let you enjoy content such as MMS, screensavers, ringtones, or browse through wap and websites anywhere.
Cellphones released by SMART and select authorized dealers are already pre-configured with 3G, MMS or GPRS settings. If you are unsure if your cellphone's already configured to receive and send rich content, you may:
1. DOWNLOAD THE SIM CONNECT MENU
Text GET MENU to 9888 and keep you phone idle for 2-3 minutes to successfully download the application to your SIM menu.
2. TEXT SET<space>CELLPHONE MODEL to 211.
Upon receiving the configuration settings, choose to "Save All" to save the settings on your phone.
3. REGISTER ONLINE VIA WEB CONNECT
Log-on to WEB CONNECT and register your account. Once done, choose the 3G/MMS/GPRS configuration option.
All of these services are free of charge. A minimum load balance of P1.00 is required to receive phone configuration settings. To get a list of supported handsets, key in SET LIST to 211.

1. When buying a phone, always ask for a warranty. This saves you money in case your phone needs repair. Repair is provided by SMART's authorized service centers. If coursed through SMART, payment fee is P400.00
2. For cellphone features, configuration, and support, you'll get helpful information in your cellphone manual. You may also visit your cellphone manufacturer's brand website for product support.
