Smart Buddy Renews Partnership With Bamboo
[June 13, 2007/ Manila] - Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART), the country’s leading wireless services provider, recently announced the renewal of its partnership with the biggest, most popular group in today’s Pinoy rock music scene, Bamboo. The multi-awarded band, composed of vocalist Bamboo Mañalac, guitarist Ira Cruz, bassist Nathan Azarcon, and drummer Vic Mercado, is on its third year of endorsing Smart Buddy. Bamboo is widely credited for the resurgence of Pinoy rock music in the last few years, and is known for creating songs, heavily laced with themes of patriotism and longing for change, that speak vividly to the youth, such as “Noypi” and “Hallelujah”.
