Our Subsidiaries
As the main wireless arm of the PLDT group of companies, SMART operates several subsidiaries - Pilipino Telephone Corporation (Piltel), a wireless service provider; SMART Broadband, Inc., a wireless broadband provider; Wolfpac Mobile, Inc., a wireless content operator and i-Contacts Corporation (i-Con), a contact center.
i-CON is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SMART and is a multi-channeled contact center that provides companies with access to its customers via voice, fax, internet and Short Messaging System (text messages).
Pilipino Telephone Corporation (Piltel), is a subsidiary of Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART), the largest wireless services provider in the Philippines. As of end-December 2008, Piltel now has over 14.3 million prepaid subscribers under the GSM brand Talk 'N Text, the second-largest brand in the country.
Smart Broadband, Inc. (SBI) is the wireless broadband and data services
arm of SMART. It operates under a legislative franchise (Republic Act 8337) and has provisional authorities to operate issued by the Philippines’ National Telecommunications Commission.
Wolfpac Mobile, Inc. is one of country's leading content providers. It has been nominated several times at the annual GSM Association Congress for its innovative mobile applications.
