Over 13,000 pass teachers’ licensure exam

Of the 26, 812 examinees of the Licensure Examination of Teachers
(LET), 7470 or 27.86 percent passed for the elementary level while
5,914 or 24.67 percent made it in the high school, the Professional
Regulation Commission reports.

Samar public school students to learn Spanish

Education Secretary Jesli Lapus has identified the Tagapul-an National
High School (TNHS) and 16 other public schools in the country as pilot
areas for the inclusion of Spanish in their curriculum beginning this
June.
